"Big enough for excellence, small enough to care"

Welcome to Morrice!

Morrice Area Schools, home of the Orioles, is proud of our rich heritage. Our district consists of two school buildings and a student population of just under 600. We claim the motto that we are big enough for excellence, yet small enough to care. Our schools offer an excellent opportunity for the student who thrives in a small, close-knit school atmosphere with direct links to a global education.

The Village of Morrice boasts hometown shops along two city blocks with the usual local amenities – an eatery, hardware, post office, two churches, and other small businesses. The hub of the town doesn’t cover a great deal of acreage, but the heart of the community is huge. We are a proud community where the school is the place for activity which helps the Village maintain its core. Stop by during our open houses, carnivals, or football games and you’ll see a majority of the community present.

Community support is not only strong for our programs, the residents of Morrice recently passed two bonds to purchase new buses and renovate our buildings. Please check back occasionally (through September 2009) on this site to see our progress.
